ABSTRACT

Urban spaces emerge as central loci for collective solutions. Bearing this key idea in mind, the talk aims to discuss the role of Information and Communications Technologies within the city. The central thesis argues for a radical ("having roots", LL, radicalis) choice of communication that considers its technological and social aspects. In particular, the discussion will draw on the so-called "digital cities" within Brazilian context.
